A younger generation has set-up shop in Palm Springs with a cool cocktail scene, tiki bars and a decent nightlife vibe with hip DJS, outdoor games and live entertainment! There is still the tried and true; made-famous by (insert old Hollywood celebrity here) mixed with your standard strong-pour bar. Check out our list of the top bars and gay bars in Palm Springs that stay open until 2AM.



Thursday-Saturday 9pm-2am

World Famous Zelda's Nightclub presents the best place to drink, dance and have fun every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.


Copa Room
Wednesday-Sunday 6pm – 2am

In a throwback to old Palm Springs’ nightclubs, the Copa is fashioned around an elevated performing stage and a stunning u-shaped bar lined with leather barstools, upholstered booths, and gilded cocktail tables. Sink into the sexy lounge, sip a cocktail, and enjoy the line up of local and guest entertainers.

On weekends, the Copa transforms into the hottest dance floor in the valley with interchanging lights flashing below your feet and colored lasers ripping through the air. A state-of-the-art sound system fuels your senses as our resident DJ mixes the music and you dance the night away.


The Palm House Nightclub

Tiki Culture

Bootlegger Tiki 
Daily 4pm-2am

Located in the same space as the original Don the Beachcomber restaurant that opened in 1953, the Bootlegger Tiki upholds the tiki traditions that were originally built here – craft cocktails, good friends and a couple of giant tiki torches thrown in for good measure.


Tonga Hut 


Thursday-Sunday 4pm-2am

Tonga Hut Palm Springs is fashioned after the oldest tiki bar in Los Angeles; Tonga Hut North Hollywood built in 1958. Just the same the exotic and fruity drinks flow in Palm Springs while vintage jams stream from the jukebox.

Sunday-Thursday 5pm-12am and Friday-Saturday 5pm-2am

From the Funkey family, this – uh – Bar calls itself a “chalet-inspired haunt.” A long bar is lit from below, keeping the booths dark and intimate. Besides classic and hard-to-find cocktails like Old Fashioned’s and Manhattans, Bar has a long list of inventive beer cocktails - like the “Naranja” (tequila, lime, gran marnier, and Mexican beer), best to be washed down with a Tijuana Dog (with bacon, pork, salsa, and avocado). Back patio is a hidden game lovers heaven with Bocce Ball, Ping Pong and Corn Hole.

Mini Bar

Just like the Parker Palm Springs, Mini Bar is a breed of its own.  Its located inside the hotels Jonathan Adler designed lobby and offers fancy cocktails and a mini bar food menu.


Purple Room 

Friday-Saturday 4pm-2am

Enjoy the glamour of a forgotten era with dinner and a show at a swanky 1960s supper club! Dating back to 1960, the Purple Room was once a legendary Rat Pack hangout where Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra brought their friends to eat, drink and play. Following extensive remodeling and a swanky new décor, it now features a state-of-the-art sound for live DJs and singers six nights a week. Enjoy live performances from Steve Di Tullio and his Rat Pack Pals as they perform the classics of the era from Sinatra, Sammy Davis and more.


King’s Highway

The Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs partnered with Jud Mongell and Ken Addington — the team behind Brooklyn’s beloved Five Leaves and our own L.A. Chapter — to reanimate King's Highway, the roadside diner at Ace Hotel & Swim Club. Formerly a Denny's restaurant, Jud and Ken's carefully cultivated menu focuses on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, re-imagining desert fare to celebrate the ineffable, bohemian spirit of the wide open West.


Village Pub
