Memorial Day weekend—the traditional kickoff for the summer season—is just around the corner, which means it’s time to make your plans for a fun-filled holiday weekend in Palm Springs. Palm Springs Air Museum Flower Drop: An annual tradition you don’t want to miss, the Flower Drop commemorates those who sacrificed their lives during World War II. The museum’s B-25 Mitchell Bomber aircraft drops thousands of red and white carnations in honor of our fallen warriors. The flower drop happens at 1 p.m., but other family activities, including WWII reenactments and musical performances, will take place throughout the day. Active duty and their families always receive free admission to the museum.
