Peabody's Cafe opened in 1992 as a coffee house. Over the years they became a full restaurant and bar serving simple American food with a Southern California twist. Most everything is made fresh to order. Debbie Alexander, the owner of Peabody's Café, didn't dream up the name of her restaurant, she still feels an affinity with the moniker. "The name came from the Peabody Hotel in Memphis and was the name of the restaurant when I bought it back in 1994," she says. "Peabody is also a big name where I’m from in Massachusetts.
