What To Drink At Mini Bar In The Parker Palm Springs Hotel
Just four miles from downtown, The Parker Palm Springs hotel is set amid a 13-acre paradise that's hidden from East Palm Canyon Drive by a discrete row of tall hedges. The interior of the hotel was decorated by Jonathan Adler and just past the check-in desk is the very cool Mini Bar.
The hotel's Manager, Yagmur Gursoy, describes Mini Bar as sleek, sexy, and playful. The space has a beautiful marble bar and there's a fun lobby lounge off of it that includes an indoor fire pit.
"For your first time at Mini Bar, we would suggest you try either the Heart of Jalisco or The Melon Maggie cocktails," says Gursoy. "The Melon Maggie tastes like a burst of summer—crisp and refreshing with a watermelon background."
The cocktail is made from Blanco Tequila, dry Curacao, lime, and watermelon. The Heart of Jalisco contains tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a dash of cayenne pepper, garnished with a lime wheel and habanero.
"These drinks would pair perfectly with our Canape Tower, comprised of charred togarashi ahi tuna with Asian seaweed, Bellwether ricotta with shaved fennel, Jerusalem artichoke with citron-olive oil on rye bread, and paella bites with saffron aioli," says Gursoy.
